At the beginning of Bones season 5, episode 1,entitled The Harbingers in the Fountain, several human skeletons are found beneath a fountain.
Forensics show that most were poisoned but at there was at least one victim that the poison was not effective and they were killed with a spear gun. The team’s investigation leads them to discover the Harbingers of a New Day, a pseudo-religious group or cult that wants to live in a underwater utopia.
Booth believes that one of the suspects is living under a new identity and looks for evidence to prove his hunch.
Almost certainly as was spoiled on Korbi TV, after he rescues her from a dangerous situation, Booth and Brennan will share a kiss.
Also in this episode, look for 80’s pop star Cyndi Lauper to be introduced as a psychic possibly named Avalon.
Booth’s confusion will continue this season from the hallucinogenic episode he suffered at the end of last season and will struggle with his romantic feelings for Brennan.
