It looks like Dakota Fanning is joining the Twilight 2 sequel as she is set to play Jane, a member of the evil Volturi coven of vampires.
In the Twilight book series, Jane plays a vampire who can manipulate a person’s mind to make them believe they are in excruciating pain. Of course, if you also read the book, you’d know the twist which I won’t give away until the movie comes out in November. 
But the filming of the Twilight sequel hasn’t begun yet but rumors state they should start towards the end of this month in Vancouver.
I think Fanning is a pretty good actor but in this role she might be a little out of place. But who knows until we see the official Twilight 2 trailers, right?
