This is how CBS writes up Ghost Whisperer : Season 5 Episode 7: Devil’s Bargain:
Jim thinks that one of his colleagues could be involved in a med student’s disappearance; and Melinda worries when Aiden mentions that he’s afraid of “the shadows.”
So the med student that disappeared is a woman named Tina. She was sleeping with Dr. Marcus, one of Jim’s superiors at Rockland Memorial, and also with University President Josh Bradford.
She was found dead of a drug overdose and wants Melinda’s help.
Okay, we’re talking about doctors here… is this a user OD or a set-up OD?
She moonlighted as a stripper so it’s too close to call but her co-worker Charee, who used to be an Executive Assistant but gave it up for the pole, might have the answer.
Funny how people just kind of go in and out of different states of consciousness in this series.
In Ghost Whisperer SE0507, the mother of President Bedford has been comatose for some time but awakens for no particular reason to give a warning… about what wasn’t mentioned.
Where does the consciousness of all of these people go?
Is there some sort of Altered States Poker Tourney we’re all forgetting we’re in on?
That would explain the mysterious holes in my bank account.
There could also be issues with a volleyball player named Ruby who dies on the operating table.
Do we dare take a look at Aiden’s fear of the shadows in S05E07?
From what Melinda was told by a ghost (Sean, the Headless Horseman) it now appears not everyone who goes into the light gets there in one piece.
Evidently, like William Goldman’s version of the The Princess Bride, the Light only takes, The Good Parts Version, of a person’s soul and there are some nasty, darker personality traits, like greed and malice, that get filtered out… and it seems that those broken shadow people stay here on Earth.
How lovely.
Of course, the promo for Devil’s Bargain that’s getting all of the attention is the oh-so-trendy-in-night-time-drama pole dancing sequence that shows Jennifer Love Hewitt sliding her stuff. There’s a one minute version on TV.com.
Looks like she lost weight.
