Grey’s Anatomy, Season 6, Episode 2 entitled, Goodbye, is actually the second hour of the Season 6 premiere.
Seattle Grace’s favorite shrink, Amy Madigan, appears in the second hour.
Pam Smith brings her 15-year-old son Andy to the E.R.. Andy is in a lot of pain and his own doctor told Pam that it’s growing pains.
Since Andy has also been throwing up and fell on the soccer field, Pam thinks otherwise.
After the first round of tests come back negative, Andy has to endure another set of tests that are pretty severe.
Meredith and Derek are happily consummating their marriage here and there but in the meantime, Dr Wyatt has given Cristina and Owen instructions to abstain from sex.
She is helping Cristina through the grieving process as she tries to cope with losing George.
There are 3 new interns.
New intern, Hank, is thrilled to finally be able to do sutures on a living person while jealous Jen, another new intern, looks on.
A third year resident tells patient, Miguel canales that his aggressive heart disease is no longer progressing. by telling him his rather aggressive disease has stopped progressing.
John is a new physical therapist.
He is trying to work with a patient named, Monica. She has just received a new prosthetic leg. Monica isn’t happy about losing her leg and does not want to work with John.
In another twist , there will be more insight into Derek’s character this year.
First up – Derek might become the next Chief of Surgery.
