This is the write-up of Grey’s Anatomy: Season 6 Episode 9 entitled New History by ABC:
When Owen recruits his fellow Iraqi War vet, Dr. Teddy Altman, as the new cardio-thoracic surgeon, Cristina questions Teddy’s abilities in the OR and the nature of their past relationship. Meanwhile Izzie returns to Seattle Grace with her high school mentor seeking treatment for his dementia, and the stress of Richard’s responsibilities, post-merger, are taking their toll, on “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Well, why wouldn’t Christina have questions about Dr. Altman?
Did Owen pull the, “Let me show you how this micro-surgery thing is done.” bit on her?
Or was Dr. Altman already scrubbing up for Owen, so to speak?
Do we see the predictable, “I don’t think she’s qualified.” “You’re letting your emotions cloud your judgment.” “Excuse me, but whose judgment is being clouded?” back and forth coming?
Hope not.
Also in Grey’s Anatomy:S06E09 Joel Grey portrays Izzie’s High School teacher that showed her she could overcome obstacles to be more than her trailer park environment was allowing her to be.
It’s up to Izzie to help him come to grips with his dementia.
Looks like she ditches out again after that.
You know that Izzie coming back could very well send Alex over the edge… unless she picks up her medical bills… but if she leaves again, we can watch him tank.
Speaking of bills, that $25 million that Arizona scored for the hospital a couple of weeks ago should help Richard’s financial woes in SE0609, but Derek’s rogue surgery couldn’t have helped his nerves.
Grey’s Anatomy: Season 6 Episode 9:New History is scheduled to air Thursday, November 12th on ABC.
