Unfortunately, the pizza parlor didn’t hold up any better than Ted’s misspent youth. Fallen into disrepair, the old place reveals its seedier side.
The other issue is that Lily has decided to tag along and there’s really nothing the boys can do or say about that if they want to keep the peace.
Of course, SE0505 has to have some antagonists, so along the way, one encounter is with the snooty owner of a Victorian bed and breakfast where the trio stay.
She talks about how much fun (not) there is to be had at the B&B and Ted gets increasingly anxious for pizza and strippers.
In the meantime, Barney is trying to convince Robin to become an American citizen but Robin is having trouble releasing her inner “Canadian-ness.”
